Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kimberly Schmid was born in Vietnam and also has Chinese roots, but her father Winston Barrett Munn comes from an American family. Her parents divorced at the age of two years old. Her mother raised her along with her stepfather, who is a United States Air Force officer. The family emigrated to Oklahoma, and lived in several places, but she spent the bulk of her life in Tokyo. She appeared in local theatre productions during this period as well as becoming a models for the Japanese industry. Olivia has moved with her family to Los Angeles in order to fulfil her dream to be an actor was determined to pursue her goal after the family moved back to America. After a few minor roles on TV shows that featured Hawaii lense (such as Beyond the Break), she won the role Mily Acuna and landed Rob Schneider's receptionist in Big Stan. The G4 podcasts include "The Daily Nut" and "Formula D". The passion she has for surfing is something she's continued since the 2006 TV program Beyond the Break. She is also a black-belt in Taekwondo. When she was two, her mom remarried. This time she married an US Air Force serviceman. Family members have moved around several times, but she lived the majority of her life in Tokyo Japan since that was the location where her father was stationed. Attended at the University of Oklahoma, where she earned a degree in journalism. She also minored in Japanese and dramatic arts.
