Beverley Mitchell was born in Arcadia, California on the 22nd of January 1981. Lucy Camden, a popular character from the series 7th Heaven was portrayed by country music star Beverley Mitchell. She auditioned as Mary Camden as part of the 7th Heaven family drama. The producers initially rejected her producers because she did not match the character of Mary. However when she read for the part of sister Lucy she was immediately cast. 7th Heaven had a very long run of 11 seasons. The other noteworthy shows she covered included Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee, the Arab Spring for American television as well as the Japan Earthquake, Tsunami and the Syria crisis. Brooke was present as the live anchor at during the Republican National Convention in 2012 during the presidential election.
